Abstract

The research aims to study oil revenues and their relationship to the total public debt in the Iraqi economy, as well as to analyze the relationship between oil revenues and the indicator of total public debt in the Iraqi economy for the period 2004-2021.

The most important conclusions reached by the researcher is the existence of an inverse relationship in the short and long term between the independent variable (oil revenues) and the dependent variable (general annealing).
