The role of technological skills in the success of management information systems A survey study of a sample of administrative leaders in University of Al Mosul Preparation
Abstract
The study aims to measure the relationship between the technological skills of the beneficiary in the success of management information systems, if the dimensions of technological skills were chosen based on the relevant literature, which were represented by (knowledge, skill, social, moral) while the dimensions of success of management information systems were represented by (conviction of the beneficiary beneficiary conviction, beneficiary satisfaction, system use, system quality) for a sample of the administrative academic staff at the University of Mosul, which included (department heads and rapporteurs) of 133 departments at the University of Mosul. The questionnaire was relied upon as a main tool in data collection. The size of the target research community was (266), where the questionnaire was distributed to all the research community, and the entire number was retrieved by distributing the paper form to individuals, and the number swallowed 266 respondents. The study also adopted the descriptive analytical approach in the practical aspect of the research. The study sought to test The research model and the hypotheses emanating from it related to the correlations and influence relationships between the variables of the study, in order to answer the questions related to the problem of the study, the most important of which was "what is the nature of the correlation and influence relationship between the dimensions of technological skills and the success of management information systems and access to the set goals, and in order to process data and information Many statistical methods were used, namely: (frequencies, percentages, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, Pearson correlation coefficient and confirmatory factor analysis), by adopting the ready-made software (SPSS v26) and (Amos 24) package. To test the study hypotheses and confirm their validity. The study reached a set of conclusions, including the existence of a significant correlation and impact between the dimensions of technological skills and the success of management information systems. Based on the results of the study, it developed a set of proposals, the most important of which was working to spread awareness among individuals of the importance of technological skills and sensing technological developments and changes. achieved around them because of its significant impact on the success of the educational process, which is consistent with the study to achieve the possible benefit.
